The DC608K provides professional contractors with a compact, lightweight nailer without the inconveniences associated with compressors and hoses. The DC608K is powered by DeWALT's exclusive 18V cordless battery system, which eliminates the need for inconvenient and costly gas cartridges. The DC608K is ideal for remodelers, trim carpenters, general contractors, and woodworkers.
Durability DeWALT designed the 18Ga nailer with a mechanical flywheel system that enables the nailer to work at the nailing rate that the user needs. The DC608K is unaffected by hot or cold climate conditions, helping to increase reliability and productivity for the end user. Additionally, the DC608K is equipped with a box-style magazine for increased durability, helping to keep sawdust and debris out of the magazine.
Performance The mechanical flywheel system on the DC608K provides the tool with superior power allowing the nailer to drive up to 2" 18 gauge nails into hardwoods. The DC608K is powered by an XRP™ 18V battery pack, which can be used to operate any tool in DeWALT's 38 tool 18V platform.
Ease of Use DeWALT designed the cordless nailer to eliminate the need for gas cartridges, hoses and compressors. Additionally, users can quickly and easily actuate sequential operating mode for precision placement or bump operating mode for increased production and speed. A twelve-position depth adjustment system allows users to accurately set and repeat depth adjustment settings, and a tool free jam clear system allows users to easily clear periodic nail jams without the use of tools. For increased visibility, the DC608K has a reduced overhang of 1.5", improving the user's line of sight and a work surface headlight automatically turns on when trigger is depressed. The unit is equipped with a reversible metal belt hook that easily adapts to the needs of individual users and an over molded grip provides increased comfort.
